Do you support farm workers?
Yes. The Agri plan supports farm workers covered by Sectoral Determination 13 (SD13) and seasonal workers. All SD13 minimum wage rules, deduction limits, and compliance requirements are built in.
Do you support seasonal workers?
Yes. Seasonal workers are fully supported with piece-rate logging, rain-day calculations, and a one-click rehire system for bringing back last season's crew.
How does piece-rate work?
You log daily output for each worker in any unit (kg, crates, baskets, rows). The system calculates earnings based on the agreed rate per unit and automatically applies SD13 minimum wage top-ups if the worker's daily earnings fall below the minimum.
What are production bonuses?
Production bonuses reward workers who exceed a daily or weekly target on a specific task. For example, if a worker picks more than 200kg in a day, they earn R1.00 extra per kg above 200kg. The bonus is calculated automatically and appears on the payslip.
What are season-completion bonuses?
A season-completion bonus is a lump sum paid to workers who complete a full season with a minimum attendance percentage (e.g. 80%). You can optionally pro-rate the bonus for workers who fall short. The system evaluates attendance automatically when generating payslips.
What pay modes are available for farm workers?
Three modes: Fixed rate (piece-rate tracked for reporting only), Fixed + piece-rate (base pay plus output earnings), and Piece-rate only (paid entirely based on output, with minimum wage top-ups if earnings fall short). You can change the mode at any time.
Are payslips SD13 compliant?
Yes. Payslips for farm and seasonal workers include piece-rate earnings, production bonuses, season bonuses, minimum wage top-ups, rain-day pay, farm perks, and deductions — all calculated in compliance with Sectoral Determination 13.
How do Agri top-ups work?
The Agri plan includes 100 farm and seasonal workers. If you need more, you can purchase top-ups: +25 workers for R50/month, +50 workers for R100/month, or +100 workers for R150/month. Top-ups are billed monthly alongside your Agri plan.
What happens if I cancel the Agri plan?
If you cancel the Agri plan, your farm and seasonal worker data is retained for 6 months in read-only mode. You can still view and export records.
