System Update: Agri Add-On, Compliance Engine, and Admin Panel Enhancements

What is new in WagesPro

WagesPro has been updated with several major improvements to help South African employers manage their workforce more effectively.

Agri Add-On

The new Agri Add-On is designed for farm owners, estate managers, and agricultural employers who manage farm workers and seasonal workers under Sectoral Determination 13 (SD13).

Key features include:

**SD13 compliance** - Automatic enforcement of SD13 minimum wages, deduction limits (housing 10%, meals 20%, transport 7.5%), and the BCEA 4-hour rain-day rule.

**Piece-rate tracking** - Record piece-rate earnings per session with automatic minimum wage top-up calculation when daily earnings fall below the legal minimum.

**Farm perks management** - Track housing, meals, transport, PPE, and tools provided to farm workers, with SD13 deduction validation.

**Seasonal worker support** - Manage fixed-term and seasonal employment contracts with proper notice periods and compliance tracking.

**Worker pool management** - Base limit of 100 agri workers included, with top-up packs available for larger operations.

Compliance Engine

All compliance values are now stored in a database-backed settings system that can be updated by administrators without code changes:

Minimum wages (domestic, farm, general, learnership, casual, part-time, piece worker)

UIF contribution rates and thresholds

SDL rates and payroll thresholds

COIDA assessment rates and minimum fees

PAYE tax thresholds

Overtime multipliers (weekday 1.5x, Sunday/public holiday 2x)

Leave entitlements (annual, sick, family responsibility, maternity, paternity)

SD13 deduction limits

BCEA working hour rules

Notice periods and severance pay rules

Every change to a compliance value is versioned and audited, with effective dates to support future updates without disrupting current calculations.

Admin Panel Enhancements

The admin panel now includes:

**Blog manager** - Create, edit, publish, and unpublish blog posts with category filtering and pagination.

**Document templates** - Versioned content templates for employment contracts, warning letters, termination notices, CCMA packs, UIF forms, and COIDA forms.

**Compliance settings editor** - Edit all regulatory values with version history and audit logging.

**Audit log viewer** - Full trail of all admin actions across the platform.

**Platform health dashboard** - Metrics, cron job execution logs, and email delivery logs.

**Agri dashboard** - Agri Add-On usage stats, near-limit warnings, top-up distribution, and pricing editor.

**Worker pool inspector** - View and manage worker allocations across all users.

**User admin actions** - Grace period management, data retention triggers, and worker pool recomputation.
