What Is Piece-Rate Logging?

Piece-rate logging lets you record daily output for each worker in any unit: kilograms, crates, baskets, rows, or a custom unit. The system calculates earnings based on the agreed rate per unit.

How to Log Output

Open an employee profile for a farm or seasonal worker. Go to the Piece-Rate tab. Enter the date, unit type, quantity, and rate per unit. The system calculates total earnings and checks against the SD13 minimum wage.

Minimum Wage Top-Ups

If a worker's piece-rate earnings for the day fall below the SD13 minimum daily wage, the system automatically calculates the top-up amount. This appears as a separate line item on the payslip.

Top-ups are calculated daily. Even if a worker has a good day followed by a slow day, each day is assessed independently.
