What Is the Smart Contract Generator?
The Smart Contract Generator is a 3-step wizard that creates employment contracts with minimal effort. It pre-fills details from the employee's profile - name, ID number, address, pay rate, work days, and employment type - so you only need to review and adjust.
How It Works
- Select a contract type - the wizard suggests the best match based on the employee's classification (domestic, casual, part-time, etc.).
- Fill in details - most fields are already pre-filled from the employee's profile. Add or adjust anything that's missing.
- Review and download - check the preview, then save the contract. Download the PDF and get both parties to sign.
The wizard auto-selects the contract type based on the employee's employment_type. You can always change it if needed.

The generator supports 8 contract types:
- Domestic Worker Contract
- General Worker Contract
- Farm Worker Contract
- Casual Worker Contract
- Part-Time Worker Contract
- Fixed-Term Contract
- Full-Time Contract
- Learnership Contract
Where to Find It
Go to Contracts → Generate Contract from the sidebar, or use Quick Actions and search for "contract". You can also generate a contract from an employee's profile page.
