Understanding the Grace Period
2 min read — Updated March 2026
What Is the Grace Period?
If a subscription payment fails, your account enters a 48-hour grace period. During this time you can still log in and view your data, but you cannot create, edit, or delete records. This is called read-only mode.
What Is Blocked During Grace Period?
During the grace period, the following actions are blocked:
- Creating new employees
- Generating new payslips
- Editing employee details
- Creating contracts, letters, or documents
- Logging piece-rate output or work stoppages (Agri)
What Is Still Allowed?
You can still:
- Log in and view all data
- Download existing payslips and documents
- Export data as CSV
- View compliance reports
- Update your payment method
Resolving the Grace Period
If payment is resolved within 48 hours, full access is restored immediately. If the grace period expires without payment, your account is paused and remains in read-only mode until payment is resolved.
