2 min read — Updated March 2026
What Is Read-Only Mode?
Read-only mode is a restricted access state where you can view and export your existing data but cannot create, edit, or delete records.
When Does It Apply?
Read-only mode applies in the following situations:
- During the 48-hour grace period after a payment failure
- After a subscription is cancelled and the paid period has ended
- During the 6-month data retention window
- When the account is in a paused state
What You Can Do in Read-Only Mode
You can log in, view all employee records, download payslips and documents, export CSV data, and view compliance reports. You cannot create new records or modify existing ones.
