Using the Daily Farm Logbook
3 min read — Updated March 2026
What Is the Farm Logbook?
The farm logbook is your central daily view. Instead of visiting each employee's profile, you log everything for everyone on one screen — attendance, piece-rate tasks, transport, meals, and weather.
How to Use It
Go to Farm Logbook from the sidebar (under the Farm section). Pick a date (defaults to today). You'll see all active agri workers listed.
For each worker: set their status (present, absent, rain day, half day), add task entries (pick a farm task, enter quantity and quality grade), and toggle transport/meals.
Click "Save All" to batch-save attendance and piece-rate logs for all workers at once.
Weather Events
If there's a rain day or work stoppage, log it as a weather event at the top of the logbook. This is farm-wide — it applies to all workers. The BCEA 4-hour rule is applied automatically.
When you log a weather event, present workers are automatically updated to "rain day" status.
