Setting Up Farm Tasks

What Are Farm Tasks?
Farm tasks are the piece-rate activities your workers perform — picking grapes, pruning vines, packing crates, etc. Each task has a name, unit type (kg, crates, rows, etc.), and a rate per unit.
Defining tasks in Settings means you can select them in the daily logbook instead of typing rates each time.
Quality Grades (A / B / C)
Each task supports three quality grades. Grade A pays full rate, Grade B pays 90% by default, and Grade C pays 80%. You can adjust these multipliers per task.
For example, if grapes are R5.00/kg: Grade A = R5.00, Grade B = R4.50, Grade C = R4.00.
Production Bonuses
You can set an optional production bonus on any task. This pays extra when a worker exceeds a daily or weekly target.
For example: "If a worker picks more than 200kg in a day, pay R1.00 extra per kg above 200kg." The bonus is calculated automatically and appears on the payslip.
How to Set Up Tasks
Go to Settings → Farm Tasks. Click "Add Task" and enter the task name, unit type, rate per unit, and quality multipliers. Optionally enable a production bonus with a threshold, bonus rate, and period (daily or weekly).
